Product-Led Simulation & Upskilling Platform

Stocktopia is a simulation game at the heart of an award winning blended upskilling programme. The experience condenses 24 hours in the life of a store into a focused 10 minute simulation, supporting a cultural shift in how stock is understood and managed.

My Role

Head of Design — led illustration style, UX and UI design, and animation, working closely with learning and delivery teams to shape the overall experience.

Challenge

Create an engaging learning experience that helps people understand the impact of stock decisions quickly and meaningfully, without relying on lengthy training or abstract instruction.

Approach

The experience was designed as a time compressed simulation, allowing users to make decisions and see consequences play out rapidly. Illustration and animation were used to simplify complexity, while UX and UI design focused on clarity, pace, and feedback to reinforce learning through action.
